There’s almost too much going on, spread out over more than a week, but we’ve narrowed down some interesting choices for you.

39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire

March 12th, starting at 10 am. Head over to Phoenix for this massive celebration. There are plenty of things to do, not the least of which is taking in the parade. The heritage pageant, which started in 1983, will crown the queen of the parade once again. There will be live music, many celebrations of Irish heritage at the Irish Cultural Center, traditional Irish dance and song, and of course food and drink. You can’t go wrong at this gathering, except for perhaps not showing up early to get a spot for the parade!

March 12th, starting at 11 am. Don’t overdo it and don’t drive, but do have fun and do take pictures! Aside from a photo contest, there are one-cent drink vouchers (2), a buffet, giveaways, drink specials, and hopping from place to place. Some of the stops include:

  • Whiskey Row
  • El Hefe
  • Wasted Grain
  • & More TBA

Irish Fountain Fest

March 12th, starting at 11 am. There’s something for the whole family, including food trucks, live music, kids zone, beer garden, and of course the “greening of the fountain.” Sure to be a good time in Fountain Hills.
