The base engine is incredibly smooth and offers a balanced power output. Other than that, Hyundai also offers a few more powertrains, one of them being a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, and a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque that powers the Sonata N Line model.
