Program Terms & Conditions

For a limited time, eligible Arizona residents who finance the purchase or lease of an eligible new Hyundai vehicle through Hyundai Motor Finance ("HMF") may receive six (6) months of complimentary automobile insurance coverage through Hyundai Secure+™ powered by Root®.

The promotion is available only to qualifying Arizona residents, only for eligible vehicle transactions completed during the promotional period, and only where insurance coverage is approved and issued by Root Insurance in accordance with its underwriting guidelines and applicable law.

The promotional insurance benefit is limited to the first six (6) months of the customer's qualifying insurance policy. Following the promotional period, the customer is responsible for payment of all premiums and charges necessary to maintain insurance coverage.

Offer subject to all applicable terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, underwriting requirements, policy limitations, and availability. Offer may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time, subject to applicable law.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in this program, the customer must:

• Be a resident of Arizona.
• Purchase or lease an eligible new Hyundai vehicle during the promotional period.
• Finance or lease the vehicle through Hyundai Motor Finance.
• Qualify for and obtain an eligible automobile insurance policy issued by Root Insurance or an affiliated underwriting company.
• Satisfy all applicable underwriting, rating, eligibility, and policy issuance requirements established by Root Insurance.

Insurance coverage is not guaranteed. Eligibility for this promotion does not guarantee eligibility for insurance coverage. Root Insurance retains sole authority regarding underwriting, policy issuance, premium determination, renewal, cancellation, claims handling, and all other insurance-related decisions.

Not all applicants will qualify for coverage.

Financing and Insurance Independence Disclosure

Hyundai Capital America, doing business as Hyundai Motor Finance ("HMF"), does not require the purchase of insurance from Root Insurance as a condition of vehicle financing or leasing.

Customers are free to obtain required automobile insurance from any licensed insurer of their choice.

The complimentary insurance promotion is separate from any financing or lease agreement and will not affect credit approval, lease approval, financing approval, pricing, APR, lease terms, or any other financing decision.

Approval for financing or leasing does not guarantee approval for insurance coverage.

Approval for insurance coverage does not guarantee approval for financing or leasing.

Insurance Program Disclosure

Hyundai Secure+™ powered by Root® is an automobile insurance program offered through Root Insurance.

Insurance policies are underwritten by Root Insurance Company, Root Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Root Select Insurance Company, Root Florida Insurance Company, or another authorized underwriting company identified in the policy, as applicable.

Coverage availability, rates, premiums, underwriting decisions, policy issuance, policy renewals, claims decisions, and coverage determinations are made solely by Root Insurance and are subject to applicable law and policy terms.

Coverage is subject to applicable policy provisions, exclusions, limitations, deductibles, endorsements, and conditions. Refer to the insurance policy for complete details.

Any description of coverage on this website is provided for informational purposes only and does not amend, extend, or alter the terms of any insurance policy.

End of Promotional Period

This promotional offer ends January 4, 2027. Eligible customers who complete a qualifying vehicle purchase or lease before that date may receive up to six (6) months of complimentary coverage, subject to program terms.

After expiration of the promotional period, customers who wish to maintain coverage must continue the policy and pay all applicable premiums, fees, and charges directly to the insurer.

The cost of renewal coverage may differ from any premiums that would otherwise have applied during the promotional period.

Cancellations and Unearned Premiums

If a policy issued under this promotion is cancelled, terminated, or modified during the promotional period resulting in a return of premium, any unearned premium attributable to amounts paid under the promotional program may be returned to the sponsoring entity and not to the insured.

Any refund rights remain subject to the applicable policy terms and governing law.

Hyundai Capital Insurance Services, LLC (CA License No. 0G67933), an affiliate of Hyundai Capital America, receives compensation in connection with the marketing and administration of the Hyundai Secure+ program.

Root Insurance is solely responsible for insurance underwriting, policy issuance, premium determination, policy administration, customer service, claims handling, and coverage decisions.
