What’s New for the 2022 Hyundai Palisade? 

Safety gets an upgrade in the 2022 Hyundai Palisade with additional safety features that will be standard on the Hyundai Palisade SE trim level. Hyundai SmartSense safety technology is a highlight of the Hyundai Palisade that provides an impressive list of features that include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist. In the new model year, the 2022 Hyundai Palisade SE will add standard Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist and Safe Exit Assist to the spec sheet – features that came standard on the Hyundai Palisade SEL trim level in the previous iteration.

2022 Hyundai Palisade vs 2021 Hyundai Palisade: Engine Options, Features and Specs 

Power in the Hyundai Palisade – regardless of model year – is provided by a 291-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 engine that is married to an eight-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® technology to make 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Available Hyundai HTRAC® AWD is a welcome addition for families who love to take the road less traveled.  

To accommodate the family on the go, the Hyundai Palisade comes standard with a second-row bench seat that provides room for up to eight passengers. The second-row bench seat can be replaced by dual Captain’s Chairs that upgrade comfort and make room for seven of your family and friends. Armed with an impressive 18.0 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row that can be expanded with the rear seats laid flat, the Hyundai Palisade is perfect for day-to-day errands or weekend camping trips.  

Inside the Hyundai Palisade cabin, you will be greeted by an impressive level of technology and features. Entertainment is provided by a standard 8-inch color touchscreen multimedia system with access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Technology gets an upgrade with an available 10.25-inch touchscreen display with navigation, traffic updates and HD Radio™. Additional upgrades to the Hyundai Palisade interior vary by trim level and include Nappa leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, heated and cooled second-row seats, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon® sound system, a Head-Up Display and a wireless charging pad.
